The design of Mourning Fragrance is characterized by the subtle mix of different materials and the segmentation of lines. Mourning Fragrance spans an area of 295 square meters and was completed in December 2017 in Taipei, Taiwan. The project presented several challenges, including the fragmented space segmentation and scattered lighting effects. However, through careful planning and design, the designer was able to overcome these challenges and create a harmonious and visually stunning residential space.

Mourning Fragrance has been recognized for its exceptional design and was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2018 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award is given to designs that meet professional and industrial requirements, showcasing innovation, practicality, and integration of industry best practices.
